These terms and conditions apply to your use of our website and your reservations at Maddings cafe restaurant.
By using our website or making a reservation, you agree to these terms.
1. Table Reservations
Booking Requests:
- Table reservations made through our website are requests, not guaranteed bookings
- We will confirm your reservation by email
- Your booking is only confirmed once you receive confirmation from us
Cancellations:
- If you need to cancel or modify your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible
- We request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations, especially for larger groups or Sunday roast bookings
- For group bookings (6+ people), we may require 48 hours notice
No-shows:
- If you cannot attend your reservation, please inform us
- Repeated no-shows may affect your ability to make future reservations
Late Arrival:
- We will hold your table for 15 minutes past your reservation time
- After this, we may release your table to walk-in guests
- Please email us at order@maddings.co.uk if you’re running late
2. Service
Opening Hours:
- Our opening hours are displayed on our website and may change during holidays
- We reserve the right to close unexpectedly due to circumstances beyond our control
Menu:
- Our menu changes seasonally and dishes may become unavailable
- We cannot guarantee specific items will be available
- Prices are subject to change without notice
Dietary Requirements:
- Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements when booking
- While we take care to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment
3. Payment
- Payment is due at the time of your visit
- We accept card and contactless payments
- Service charge is at your discretion
4. Behavior
We ask all guests to:
- Treat our staff and other guests with respect
- Follow our staff’s instructions
- Refrain from disruptive behavior
We reserve the right to refuse service or ask guests to leave if behavior is inappropriate or disruptive.
5. Children
- Children are welcome at Maddings
- Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times
- High chairs are available (subject to availability)
6. Dogs
- Well-behaved dogs are welcome in designated areas
- Dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times
- We reserve the right to ask you to remove your dog if it causes disruption
7. Website Use
Accuracy:
- We strive to keep information on our website accurate and up-to-date
- We cannot guarantee complete accuracy and reserve the right to correct errors
Availability:
- Our website may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance
