If you’ve had our rotisserie chicken once, you probably don’t need convincing. If you haven’t, here’s the short version – it’s free-range Cotswold white from a family farm that’s been rearing birds since 1958. Slow grown, properly raised, and cooked on our rotisserie until the skin is crispy and the meat falls apart the way it should.

It’s one of the things we’re known for, and one of the reasons people keep coming back. Eat in or take one home – either way, give us 3 hours notice so we can cook it properly.

The kind of chicken your grandparents would recognise

Most chicken you buy doesn’t taste of much. That’s because most chicken is raised fast and cheap. Ours isn’t.

Our birds are free-range Cotswold white, reared by a family-run farm that’s been doing this since 1958. They roam outdoors for 64 days – roughly double the life of a standard supermarket bird. That extra time makes all the difference. The meat has flavour, the texture is right, and it actually tastes like chicken used to taste before everything got industrialised.

We cook them slowly on our rotisserie. No rushing it. By the time it reaches you the skin is golden and crisp, the meat is juicy, and you won’t need much convincing to order another one next week.

It’s not the cheapest chicken you’ll find. But once you’ve tasted the difference, the supermarket stuff is a hard thing to go back to.

How it works

Give us 2 hours and we’ll have it ready

Good chicken takes time, so we need a bit of notice. Give us at least 3 hours and we’ll have your bird cooked and ready when you arrive.

You can eat in and have it served with your choice of sauces and sides. Or take it home – still hot, still perfect, and enough to feed the family without anyone having to cook.

Ordering is easy. Drop us an email, or book through the site. Let us know what time you want it and how many you need, and we’ll take care of the rest.

We’re open Tuesday to Sunday. Just remember – we’re closed on Mondays.
